Former Kiambaa Member of Parliament Stanley Githunguri is dead.
According to his family, the businessman-cum-politician died while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
His daughters had previously told court during property case that their father was suffering from kidney failure and blood pressure.
The current Kiambaa MP John Njuguna Kawanjiku mourned Githunguri as a dedicated public servant.

“I interacted with Githunguri as a young man, he was a dedicated leader who was committed to the welfare of his people,” Kawanjiku said.
Githunguri passed on at age 77 years.
