Fraud suspect shocks court after attempting to display his manhood

A businessman facing fraud allegations shocked court attendees on Monday, December 19 after he attempted to display his manhood in court claiming that he was brutally assaulted by police officers from Central Police Station in Nairobi after his arrest.

Clement Odera alias Hamisi was arraigned before Milimani Chief Magistrate Micheni Wendy with allegations of conspiracy to defraud a job seeker

According to the charge sheet, Odera between November 1, 2021, and October 25, 2022 conspired with another person yet to be arrested to defraud Christopher Nyalenda Sino Ksh1,866,000 by falsely pretending that he would help him secure a job at the Judiciary as a driver.

It is said that the accused person obtained the money by false pretence that he would facilitate him to get the driver’s job as he had a connection with a commissioner at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Man attempts to pull down trouser

However, he surprised the court by attempting to pull down his trouser telling the magistrate that his private parts were swollen due to the injuries he sustained after being beaten by police officers forcing him to admit the offense.

Your honour, nilichapwa sana na hao askari. Ata nikikuonyesha my private parts are swollen. Nilipigwa nikiambiwa nikubali makosa (Your honour, I was beaten by the police officers. If I show you my private parts, they are swollen. They beat me up and told me to accept the offence,” said the accused person in court.

Following the remarks by the accused, the magistrate ordered him to be detained at Central Police Station and Officer Commanding Station (OCS) to facilitate his escort to the hospital for a medical examination.

The court also directed the investigating officer to avail a medical report to the court.

He was further released on a bond of Ksh500,000.
