Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party leader Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga has landed a lucrative international task to play a role in addressing an international forum on credible elections starting January 2023. The big international task comes only months after loosing presidential elections to his close opponent Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
The Azimio top leader will be tasked with the role to address the issues on ways to hold credible elections across Africa. The first event is planned to take place in Abuja, Nigeria where Raila will be the chief guest speaker.
The 14th Annual Leadership Conference will be graced by Raila Odinga as he urged the need of having credible elections. Further, Odinga was picked because of his long push to liberate Africans from dictatorship.
“The theme of this year’s conference, which is coincidentally taking place at a time the country is going into the general election, resonates well with Odinga’s sustained clamour for free, fair, credible and hitch-free election,” The Star states in its report.

Mr. Odinga has been elected to be part and parcel of this event even after loosing five times in the previous elections. In most cases, Odinga has been accusing electoral bodies of rigging him out.
“Hence, we expect him to dissect this topic at the conference and, ultimately, offer his views on how African countries can have enduring democracy through credible polls,” said the organisers of the event.
