Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has topped the chart as Kenya’s most searched local personality this year.
The list classified the top searches into general, what is, local personalities, and lyrics to favourite songs.
According to the data revealed by the global search engine company, the search about Gachagua peaked after he was announced as President William Ruto’s running mate on May 15, with the most searched questions being his personal information such as age, and wealth.
The searches on the DP progressed to an all-time high during the election period between August 14 and 20 with his top searches being; Who is Rigathi Gachagua? Rigathi Gachagua father, and Rigathi Gachagua Wikipedia

Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua followed Gachagua as the second most searched local personality.
Karua’s search interest increased after she was unveiled as the deputy presidential candidate for the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition.
